WHEN I'M THE ONE WHO'S SELLING YOU OUT
PERSONALITY It’s easy to tell from her easy, open smile that Eva is a friendly, likeable girl. While she isn’t perfect by any means, she is generally well known and well liked. She is very good at talking to people of all personalities, some may call her false for being like this, but it’s more because she’s good at seeing different people points of view and relating to them. Having a generally positive look on life helps people like her as well, but she isn’t one of those girls who is all about rainbows and candy. You know, the cute positive-type? Well, Eva is more of an extreme, outgoing, try-everything-at-least-once kind of girl. She’s constantly trying new things, from food to sports, to alcohol, to writing styles. She laughs a lot, and jokes around, and teases. She is a playful person, she just likes to have fun and live her life.
But everyone has their weaknesses, and Eva is no different. Although she is friendly and pretty open minded, she does tend to be a bit head strong. If she wants something, she will work until it’s hers, and if she wants to do something her way then by oath she will do it her way. It can make her disagreeable, and argumentative (which is typically out of the ordinary for her) but it also stops her from being a push over. She’s definitely not easily manipulated and is pretty good at seeing when someone is trying to wind her around their thumb. Usually she’ll say straight out to stop, but if she’s feeling polite or doesn’t want to embarrass the person she’ll just find an excuse to get away from them. She really does try to be considerate.
Yes she’s popular, but she’s by no means one of those girls who is ‘too cool to breathe’, in her words. Actually when you get to know her better, you’ll find that she is actually a bit of a geek. Not a closet geek, she has nothing to hide, but people never really assume that she’d be into Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. She has read both series of books, and owns all of the movies. She loves Harry Potter in every media, film, book or audio tape, and has read the series over and over again.
She is a huge literature freak. Needless to say her best subject is English and she loves to write in her spare time. Despite loving to socialize and get a bit silly, she also likes going to school. Sure, there are some days when she just can’t be bothered with it all, but she likes to learn. She’s super organized, somehow she manages to socialize, go to all her club meetings, and still have time to spare.

THERE'S A STORY AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS BOTTLE AND I'M THE PEN
When she was a little older, she started surfing lessons, dance lessons, and riding lessons. Her siblings had their fair share of activities to do, and all three of them were kept busy with whatever it was that was capturing their interest at the time. Eva tried a lot of different things in her life, but it was the more physical things that really kept her happy and satisfied. She grew up loving the beach, swimming and surfing on hot days, watching the storms roll in off the ocean, it was magical to her.
But life changed very suddenly for Eva all in one night. It was early summer, and it was pouring with rain. She had been at one of her many dance sessions with a group of her friends, and had called her parents telling them that she would be staying at her friend’s house for the night. They were all going out for dinner, just to try out this new restaurant that had opened up in town.
It was late when her grandparents turned up on her friend’s doorstep, Nana’s eyes were red, and Pa’s face was pale and stricken. Eva was only eleven, but she knew, with a jolt to her heart, that something had happened to her parents. They explained to her that a semi trailer truck had slid over to their side of the road, and had hit them directly, knocking them off the road. They had managed to rescue her younger brother from the wreck, and she was in intensive care, but Olivia, her Mom and Dad had both died.
It had taken a long time for Eva to get used to the idea that most of her family was dead, and for a long time she didn’t know how to feel. Two days after the accident, when she was allowed to go visit Alex, was the first time she had cried. Seeing her little brother wrapped up in bandages and bruised all over cracked her.
Alex had stayed in the hospital for a few weeks, the only time he had come out was for the funeral. The doctors monitored his internal organs for signs of stress or ruptures, but by the end of those few weeks they were certain that the worst of his physical injuries was a couple of fractured ribs and some bad cuts that would probably leave permanent scars. But it took Alex a very long time to get over the trauma of the whole crash.
They moved into their grandparent’s house, which was almost as big as their own home, and were given their own rooms. At night Eva usually woke up to little Alex crawling into bed beside her, and they cried themselves to sleep together. For a long time, they did nothing, they stayed in that house. Alex retreated into the attic where he would play the old instruments, and Eva would hide in the library. She surrounded herself with stories of other people, immersing herself into their world. It was pathetic, she was hiding from her own troubles by reading about fictional characters problems instead, but she couldn’t help it. This was where her love for literature came from, and for a while she forgot all about her more physical hobbies.
Healing was a slow process, but eventually she started dancing and surfing and socializing again. Alex found it harder to embrace his old life, the accident had filled him with fear and guilt, but it had inspired Eva. She didn’t want to waste away, she needed to be out and doing things, she didn’t want to die without experiencing life at its best, because life could be taken away so quickly, she had realized.
When she was fourteen, her grandparents, who were even wealthier than her parents had been, decided to move to a quieter place. So they packed up their things and moved down to the quiet, suburb of Sunnydale. Eva and her brother would be attending the high school there. It was more for Alex’s sake than Eva’s, Alex was still finding it hard to get back to how he was before, and had trouble making friends. But with Eva there it gave Alex someone he could rely on, and made it less obvious that her grandparents were trying to get him to be more social. Eva found the move sad, but exciting at the same time, she would be a sophomore at this new school. For her it was a chance to really start fresh, make new friends, and do whatever she wanted.
Sunnydale became her home, she felt a real love for the humble town and found it easy to live in. She excelled at everything she did and tried and went on began to learn more and more about her town. Her senior year, however, things began to change.
Her grandpa passed away after having a heart attack. It wasn't a surprise because it wasn't his first heart attack. He was ill and at 84, a simple fall can take a toll on an old man. It was difficult for Eva and Alex. Another person they had loved was gone and it grew to be a theme. Days before Eva's graduation, her grandmother was taken to Sunnydale Hospital. She too was ill for a long time and finally her old body couldn't handle it. Eva and Alex were orphaned.
Thankfully, her grandparents were smart. Eva and Alex were to inherit both their parents' and grandparents' fortunes. Eva and Alex claimed themselves as independents so that they weren't handled by the state and Eva stayed in Sunnydale for her brother. Although the deaths of their grandparents were not much of a shock to Alex or Eva, it still took it's toll on them. Eva, although she was the Valedictorian, never attended graduation; she didn't have it in her.
The summer went by and Eva began at UC Sunnydale. She met her best friend Xavier and began to notice odd things about herself. Visions started to flood her mind. They weren't predictable or controllable, but they took her over. After researching her old grandmother's files she learned that this wasn't uncommon in her family history and she took it as it was. Xavier too is gifted and he's helping her harness these new powers that she is developing.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT Eva is a former student of Sunnydale High School. Although she has never met either slayers, her visions about them grow. She knows what they look like and what they are capable of. Ever since Eva moved to Sunnydale she always understood it to be different. Through her research of Sunnydale, Magical history, and of the hellmouth itself, she is learning more and more. Eventually, her curiosity may lead her to what she has been envisioning.

Eva walked apprehensively down the hall of the girl's dorm, her black and bowed pumps making far too much noise, in her opinion. She felt like she was approaching the lion's den. Ever since her other two suitemates had gotten into an ugly catfight, she'd avoided the dorm like it had the plague. It sucked, because it was her dorm, too, but after all, Eva had never really been the type to stay cooped up indoors long. For the past few days, she'd lived at the gym, the caf, the picnic tables, the classrooms, the library, and town, and driving the 15 minute ride home to sleep.
But now, she had stupidly forgotten her calculus notebook in the dorm, and she couldn't just roll up to class without her notes. She'd waited until lunch, when she was pretty sure the dorm would be empty. Calculus wasn't for another hour. As she neared the door, she paused to listen for any telltale signs that anyone was around -- clinking bottles, singing, crying -- but it seemed silent enough. Sliding her key into the lock and turning it, Eva opened the door to a blissfully empty room. She sank onto her quilt and sighed happily. "All mine," she breathed out loud, reveling in the rare moment of solitude. She sat up on her elbows and looked across the room at the two other beds. One belonged to Amber, the other roommate who she'd barely seen or spoken to. And the other, of course, was Cadence's. It was also a mess. Eva briefly considered rifling through the mess to find a diary or something, but thought better of it. She wouldn't steep that low.
She stood up, straightening her flowy-yet-clingy mauve top, and walked over to her own desk, which she had barely used since getting here. All that was on it was a cup of pencils, a stack of notebooks and textbooks, and her jewelry box. She flipped open the lid to the box, running her hands through the layers of chunky necklaces and bracelets until they landed upon something soft. She withdrew the cloth-wrapped, small package and undid the rubber band, and out rolled an old crystal. Her was her mothers and it was all that was left intact from the accident. Eva held it tightly and closed her eyes remembering how her mother did the same in times of stress.
She turned her attention to the stack of notebooks and textbooks - the reason she'd actually come to the dorm - and extracted her thin, black calculus notebook from the middle of the pile. Shoving it in her bag, she slammed shut the lid of her jewelry box and ran a hand through her wavy locks. She shrugged, figuring she had nothing left to do in the room, and hoisted her messenger bag onto her shoulder, turning to leave. Within the blink of an eye, Eva fell to the ground.
Her skin felt like it was on fire and she was no longer in her dorm. She laid on the ground, unable to move and all she could feel was pain. Blood was flooding from her neck and it was difficult to breathe. She heard laughter but she could barely see. What she made out was a tall figure with white blonde hair and a misfiqured face. The last thing she were black fingernails before her neck was broken. In that instant, she was back in her dorm room.
Her books were on the floor and she gasped for breath. It was another one of those visions."

go on and play the leader
'CAUSE YOU KNOW IT'S WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Witch Powers. Although it is all still new to Eva, she's learned a lot. Eva is somewhat of a seer, or what she refers to it as a "prophecy child." She can see into the future, something that has saved her and her friends and has proven itself to be a handy tool in school. She also has the ability to control her surrounding environment. Though it is not yet strong, she can move things with her mind and manipulate surrounding elements.
- Intelligence. Eva is without a doubt one of the smartest people you may ever meet. She is a clear bookworm with an undying passion for books, reading, and studying. Never has she received a failing grade and she's choosing to keep it that way.
- Physical Fitness. Eva has always been an extremely fit girl. She's no slayer, and she cannot pull out some sixth-degree-blackbelt-master-of-death-and-kick-ass skills, however, she does have a high stamina level and a low fat percentage. She was on the track and cross-country teams throughout high school-- so for being a human granted with no physical-ability-enhancing gifts, she's fast.
- Whole Hearted. Throughout her young eighteen years, Eva has always been a lover. She was the girl who could turn the beast into a prince; one to always see the good in people. One thing that many would agree about Eva, above everything else, is that she is genuine. She always puts her all into everything. Rarely is she snide or rude; she just wants the best from the world.
- Go Getter. That slightly annoying girl in high school, who had her hand in everything; the one who was the president of 3 clubs and managed to keep her hands in others while maintaining the highest GPA-- that was Eva. She's always been an over achiever; demanding the best from herself. She wasn't popular for having the nicest car or the richest dad, she just knew everybody. Being so involved with everything throughout her lifetime, she's met so many people and had rarely made a poor impression.
- Mindset. One crucial detail about Eva is that she is very analytical. She thinks everything through and analyzes every possible
detail and because of this, is never one to have any kind of outburst. Because of the way she thinks, she is extremely level headed and open minded.
WEAKNESSES
- Lying. Eva is potentially the worst liar ever. Her palms start to sweat, her eyes get shifty, and she begins to use filler words (i.e, umm, uhh, like, etc.) extremely often. With a self-demand to be good, she simply has an inability to lie.
- Curiosity. Being a reader, Eva knows more than she should; more than what would be safe to know. Every so often, Eva learns more and more about the hellmouth that is Sunnydale, California-- something that could potentially get her killed.
- Physical Strength. Unfortunately, Eva is weak. She can barely win an arm wrestling competition against her little brother. In a town of witches, slayers, vampires, and other demons (not to mention bad people) the last thing a person wants to lack is physical strength.
- Boys. Isn't it every girl's weakness? Unfortunately, the guys Eva falls for are the one who have ever hurt her the most. This little angel has a problem for falling for the smooth talking baddies who just want a little something extra. Being the hopeless romantic she is, she is always on the lookout for love, but she looks in all the wrong places.
- Her Powers. Eva is new to this whole witch thing and it is making her kick herself in the ass. Unfortunately, Eva has no control over her random visions. They come when they want to, sometimes after an event has even happened. Sometimes they're from her perspective, sometimes from another persons. Sometimes they hurt her, and sometimes they make her glow with happiness. With being new to magic, she has few active powers. She only has ability over her immediate surroundings, and even then, her power can be difficult to master.
