"Gotta get Buffy here." Isn't that what they called The Slayer?
WELL SOMEONE HAS TO TALK TO HER PEOPLE, THAT NAME IS STRIKING FEAR IN NOBODY'S HEARTS.
- Constructor
- Builder
- Lighthearted
- Friendly
- Goofy
Ever since he was a young, Xander has had a knack for fixing things, building things and whatever he can get his hands on. He's very good with his hands which makes him the perfect candidate for jobs such in the fields of construction, carpentry and a mechanic. Xander's way of bringing out the "truth" in people makes him the perfect friend to come to if you're feeling down. He has the ability to see through people's "walls" and figure out what is upsetting them, who they really are and when he gets there he helps them out anyway he can.
WEAKNESSES
- His Family
- Cordelia
- Buffy
- Relationships
- Pick-up Lines
Xander's weaknesses both mentally, emotionally, and physically can all be situations involving several people. His family for example make him hide in his room. He hardly ever makes any sort of contact with his parents. Being abused by them for no reason makes Xander feel very separated and alone. Xander usually turns to friends for comfort. Xander also has a thing for women. His fascination for two particular girls in his school, Buffy and Cordelia makes him a real lovestruck teenage boy. Relationships aren't that great for Xander. His lack of body language and his ability to carry a conversation with a girl makes him a "loser". He's always falling in love with girls but just never has the ability to get close to a girl, both physically and verbally.

Hey it's me!
IF ANGEL'S DOIN' SOMETHING WRONG, I WANNA KNOW, CAUSE IT GIVES ME A HAPPY.
PERSONALITY
Xander's personality is a wide variety of just what makes up Alexander Lavelle Harris. When you first take a look at him, whether you're walking into a room and see him or whatever the case may be, you notice his goofy smile. His words are always goofy. When he speaks he usually has a dorkish type of smile if he is happy. When he is very happy or just in a really good mood he walks around with a bounce in his step so to speak. He also talks with lots of exaggerated hand movements. He will crack jokes that don't really amuse anyone but himself. That mostly always happen at any point during serious conversations, and continually tries to use his own personality and goofy nature to make others lighten up.
If you're a friend of his or even on good terms he will care about you like you were his brother or sister. He cares about anyone who he likes. Willow for example, Willow and Xander are like brother and sister, Xander will protect her at any cost, even if he has to go up against the forces of darkness to keep her safe.
Xander's inner, well not really "inner" geek section of his personality usually always tends to come out. His way of communicating with those around him tends to make him stand out in the wrong way. It doesn't matter if it's the end of the world or if it's a serious conversation, Xander always needs to express what his mind is thinking. He loves to goof off and try to protect himself from being serious, especially if it involves him.
His love interests are strictly girls. Buffy and Cordelia and even Faith have been in his sights. Xander doesn't have luck with girls relationship wise. He tends to babble and make an idiot of himself. His pickup lines are rather nerdish and tends to make girls turn the other way. The label that he can be referred to as a "Hopeless Romantic". Xander, despite his losses, still tries his hardest to score a win with any girl that he finds attract. He never gives up on what he wants and at the end of the day he still wants to be the best, even if that means he has to try a thousand times to get there.
Finally his serious side tends to attract people's attentions rather quickly. Although Xander tends to goof off when something that he knows is serious or if he has a strong opinion about, he will drop the "silly, goofy" act and step up to the plate so to speak. Xander knows when to be serious, he knows how to stand up and protect what he cares about. Xander doesn't show this side often but when he does show it, it's usually for a good reason.

oh we usually call them
THE "NASTY, POINTY, BITEY ONES"
Xander and Willow developed a mutual hatred of their snobby classmate. The top hated classmate that they despised was the "Queen Bee", Cordelia Chase, which led them to form the "We Hate Cordelia Club", of which Xander was the treasurer. At his sixth birthday party, Xander's parents hired a clown which chased him around, this traumatic incident gave him a lifelong phobia of clowns and caused him to suffer from nightmares. When Xander did not get a toy firetruck for his seventh birthday, the house next door burned down and he believed that Willow had set the fire to let him see real firetrucks. When he was thirteen, he attended Willow's bat mitzvah, where his drunken parents caused a scene.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT Since I am new to playing Xander, I was thinking of starting off in a simple rp. Perhaps get the feel of him as a human for a little bit, his personality if you will. Maybe I could rp with Willow or Buffy or any of the Scoobies to get a feel of like I said how to actually play Xander. I am also looking forward to him being turned into a Vampire. I'm really excited about that, Vampire Xander was also one of my favorite characters and it was a shame that he only stuck around for an episode. Any who, I am really excited to rp as Vampire Xander so maybe I could start out with a thread of becoming a vamp, maybe him killing his first human and getting a taste of what it truly means to be evil. That's pretty much all I have so far development wise.

Waking up to an early morning sunrise was what had been the normal routine for the past week or so. Things hadn't been all that chaotic lately and business was quite slow. Connor positioned himself over the edge of his bed, rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn as he stretched out his arms. As he rose from his bed, he scratched the hard chippy things that formed around his eyes, like every morning. Connor turned his attention towards his sweatpants that were laying on the floor next to his feet. As he put on his sweatpants, he turned towards the window and looked out at the city of Los Angeles. He was on the second floor so he could see up and down the block a good ways. He coughed a little, turning towards his dresser. Connor walked over, examining the drawers and slid on towards him. Going through the sorted variety of shirts he picked out a gray polo shirt and put it on. Slamming the dresser drawer shut he proceeded to head out of the room.
It was around six o'clock on a Tuesday morning and the hotel seemed quite. Not as quite as it would be within the next few hours of course. Life would awake and chaos in the lobby would be in full swing. Not that Connor minded, this was what his job was, he helped people anyway he could. Now killing a few demons while he was at it satisfied him fully. Connor had made his way down the hall and down into the lobby. Going around the front desk where all the filing papers where he went into Angel's office. Angel had a coffee maker on the counter beside his shelves and books and stuff. It was rather odd because there was a kitchen on the other side of the lobby. It wasn't that hard to just walk over to the kitchen and make some coffee but how his dad being stubborn as he was wasn't going to get up and go make it, thought Connor. As he grabbed the coffee pitcher he turned around, looking on his desk for a moment, he saw a few pictures. Pictures of Angel's friends like Buffy and Dawn. Connor sat the pitcher on the edge of the desk and looked at the picture. Picking it up he ran his free hand across the glass that kept the picture safe. "The Summers Girls" he thought to himself. How beautiful they were but yet so tough.
"Awe dad, you sure did have great taste." he thought out loud.
Setting the picture back on the desk he turned his body just slightly and accidentally knocking over the coffee pitcher that was on the edge of the desk as stated before.
"Ah shit!"
Thank God that there wasn't any coffee in it, now Connor had a problem. There was shards of glass on the floor and there he was, a shirt, sweatpants and no socks. Some of the glass had resided on the top of his feet. Connor gently rose his feet, stepping over the glass into a clean space on the floor. Once he was there he shook off the glass that remained on his feet and headed over to the closet to grab the broom. Suddenly he heard a noise, footsteps but these footsteps seemed very big. Connor grabbed the broom and around. There in the doorway was an image of Darla, his maternal mother. Her figure was so real that he could sense her vamperic presence. He knew that she wasn't real but just a sign from the Powers that Be.
"Mom?", Connor exclaimed.
He wasn't sure if he was really standing in the office looking at her or if he was dreaming the whole thing. As he stepped closer he quickly looked down at his foot, stepping on a piece of glass. He yelped a little but glanced back up only to find that the figure of his dead mother vanished. He lifted up his foot as he sighed. A medium sized piece of glass was penetrating the bottom of his foot. He grabbed it and forced it out. Blood began to flow from his foot. All of a sudden Connor heard a growl. He glanced back up on alert towards the lobby, overlooking the front desk. Nothing was there, this time his sense for a vampire presence was even greater, he stopped suddenly, he turned around slowly and saw a very large vampire, almost three hundred pounds staring him dead in the eyes. His deformed face smelt of dried blood, nothing was farther from the truth that this vampire wasn't just another vampire out for a meal, but on a mission. Before Connor could react, the vampire picked him up and threw him out over the office, over the front desk and finally landing in the middle of the lobby floor. Well that was unexpected thought Connor. Slowly regaining his balance, he pushed himself off of the floor and grasped the broom tightly.
"Alright, if that's the way you wanna play, come and get some big boy!" remarked Connor.
It wasn't everyday that he had a chance to fight a Big Bad, but when times like these came around, he was not going to sit back and take a beating. The vampire came running full throttle around the desk. With broom in hand he got set. Connor then dodged the vampire's attack. The vampire ran past him and stopped. Thrusting the broom on the floor, Connor broke off the end of it making himself a spike. Haha a "Spike" he thought. It was funny, the spike wasn't in a bleach blonde form but nonetheless it got the job done. When the vampire tried to attack him again, this time leaping towards him. Connor did the one thing that anyone would of done, Connor fell to the floor and erected the broom. The point penetrated the Vampire's heart and dusted him. Vampire dust showered Connor.
"Ah man! Now I really gotta go take a shower." he remarked as he got up, whipping the vampire dust from his clothing and hair.
He turned around and saw to his surprise a middle aged lady standing at the top of the lobby steps looking down at him in shock. Connor thought about something in his head and quickly went with it.
"Uh .. can I help you ma'am?
Connor quickly glanced down at the broom lying in the pile of vampire dust. He knelled down and grabbed it. Grasping it tightly he waited for the woman to reply.
"W-what .. was that?" she said questioning what she had just seen.
Connor didn't want to go on a whole big explaining session about how he had just dusted a vampire and what not. He backed up over to the front desk and motioned for her to come into the lobby. Trying to get the lady's mind off of the situation that had just occurred he tried changing the subject.
"Oh it was nothing, I was just cleaning. So are you here to discuss an issue of any kind? Here at Angel Investigations we can help solve your problems that others cannot."
The woman was hesitant and began to back away, heading out of the door she just shook her head from side to side. It wasn't that he didn't want to help her but he knew that she had seen something that very few people ever experience, well that is if you're normal. Normal he thought, what would be the exact definition of "normal"? Anyway he had a big day of him, the morning was just getting started but first thing's first, he had to clean up the vampire dust and the shattered glass that was on the office floor. Speaking to himself out loud again he headed back into the office to grab the spare broom.
"Hm .. today is going to be one busy day, and if it doesn't kill me, I think I'm going to go upstairs, lock myself in my room and wait for hell to freeze over before I finally think about coming back out here again."
