Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful.
Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful.

- Money – Harmony’s father is blessed with a swelled bank account, which he dips into from time to time to dote on his lovely daughter. He attempts to buy her love, instead of actually physically having to be a part of her life. So she uses this to her advantage. With somewhat limitless funding she treats herself to clothes, and vacations, and the occasional party to keep herself popular.
- Beauty – Harmony has been told her entire life how beautiful she is, and because of this no one really expects anything else from her. She has passed through life mainly on her looks. She uses her doe eyes, and platinum hair to get nerds to do her homework, or lonely divorced teachers to give her good grades. Harmony doesn’t have many options in life, so she uses this advantage every opportunity she gets.
- Opportunist – If Harmony sees a chance to advance herself in any way, you can guarantee that she is going to go for it. It is safe to say that she won’t think it through all the way, but she would most likely be willing to take the risk. If she spots a flaw in someone else (especially someone more popular then herself) then she is going to make sure to point that flaw out in hopes that she can replace them on the popularity ladder. She always wants to increase her popularity, find a long term boyfriend and she will do what she must for these things.
- Typing – To some this might not seem like a credible skill, however to Harmony it is her superpower. That is if there ever needed to be a super hero who could type extremely fast. She might not know much else about computers, but her typing speed is something she is extremely proud of.
- Determined – On the rare occasion that Harmony sets her mind to something, she struggles through to the end. No matter how much she has to fight, and most times the more she fights for something the more she wants it. This applies to all things in her life.
WEAKNESSES
- Shallow – Harmony sees the world, as she is told to view it. According to the television, and her friends only those who have money, popularity, and good looks are worth her time. She judges others and herself to an incredibly high standard, which is almost impossible to achieve. Even she herself doesn’t feel she quite reaches her own standards, so she feels that she has to put on a fake persona for people to like her.
- Trusting – When someone tells Harmony that they love or, or that they will be there for her, she believes it with her entire being. This is rarely the case, and more often than not, her friends, or current love interest usually ends up letting her down. She is very emotional, and takes it personally, and she is used to being hurt and disappointed. Still, she doesn’t let it get her down for too long, because her hope for love and honest friends is very strong.
- Harsh – Harmony’s words can sting, and she usually means for them too. She is blunt, and can sometimes be cruel. She knows it makes her appear to look tough on the outside if she shows off her sharp tongue once in a while, and afterwards people are usually less likely to verbally attack her. She thinks that if she points out someone else’s flaws, people will forget about hers. She rarely feels remorse for the things she says.
- Clueless – Harmony can appear to be a dumb blonde, and well… she is. She isn’t that intelligent, and she usually doesn’t know enough to fake it. When she is in situations that she doesn’t feel comfortable in she doesn’t have enough since to keep her mouth shut, and says things that she really shouldn’t. Harmony doesn’t have that many layers, and what you see is clearly what you get.
- Human – Harmon is a human, she has no special powers, or skill sets that would aide her in any way. Her feelings get hurt, and she is emotional. Physically and emotionally she is weak. She is powerless against even relatively weak human men. Harmony is completely and utterly helpless.

Pretty as a picture
Mad cause I'm cuter than the girl that is with ya
Harmony is a very lovely young woman. She is slender, and toned, and has a body that most supermodels spend hours alone in the bathroom with their fingers down their throat for. She runs on her treadmill and meets with a personal trainer twice a week to maintain this figure. She has wavy, shoulder length golden hair. During the summer she gets highlights put in, and thinks she is prettiest when her hair color is next to platinum. She has light blue eyes, that she accents with heavy mascara. She is naturally pale, with hints of freckles on her nose. She has a very delicate frame, and very feminine features. She is always dressed in the latest trends, and fashions, and is hardly ever seen in ‘comfortable’ clothes. She is always well manicured, and groomed.
PERSONALITY For Harmony it can be lonely up there on her pedestal. She thinks very highly of herself and looks down on the world around her. She is shallow, and self serving and above all else self centered. However, even with all of these flaws, she is simply perky. She pulls off the ‘dumb, ditzy, blonde’ act extremely well. What’s her secret? It isn’t an act at all. Don’t tell her that. Harmony is the epitome of ‘what you see is what you get’. She lays her heart on the table, and her facial expressions are extremely easy to read. There are no deep dark secrets or mysterious past when it comes to her, only the girl with the blank stare standing in front of you. Inside Harmony is a caring, warm, person who just wants to be loved and adored. She is like a child in this aspect, having never had love or approval from her father. She has never been close to anyone and longs to know true affection. She usually tried to compensate for this by trying to hard when it comes to men, and giving herself to them way too early. She is extremely desperate, and lonely. If she ever found someone that would love her for her, or truly cared for her she would be fiercely loyal.
She uses her looks, and her appeal to get what she wants out of life, simply because she doesn’t know any other way. She is blessed with beauty, and a dazzling smile, and these are her tools. She has practiced using them all her life, and now is has perfected them. Other than that, she is defenseless in the real world. She is painfully naive, and is nowhere near ready for the harsh realities of the world. She is too immature, and trusting to be around people who would use her, or hurt her. As long as she is in Sunnydale, under the guidance of her father and the popular crowd at school she is safe. However, alone and left to her own defenses it is very likely she would get taken advantage of.
Harmony has a lot of reasons to be bitter, and angry, instead she is seemingly happy. She tends to make light of most situations, mostly in part because she has no idea what is actually going on. When she is attacked, or threatened, the rarely seen tough skin comes out. She can be harsh, and cruel, and is not afraid to fight back and stand up for herself. She is fierce, and a strong woman. She will not simply lie down and die; instead she just might surprise you. Sometimes this side of her comes out to play even when it really shouldn’t. She can be unjust, and cruel to those that truly do not deserve it and have done nothing wrong. She puts others down, for the simple fact that it makes her feel superior. Even though she is quite capable of taking care of herself, she would prefer a big strong man do it for her.
LIKES
- Unicorns – Because they are magical!
- Paris – Harmony views this as a child perceives Disney world. It is a magical place, where dreams come true. However, Harmony has grown past wishing to meet Minnie Mouse, and now she dreams of finding true love in the most romantic city in the universe. She has already planned out her entire honeymoon here, now all she needs is a potential groom.
- Boys – Harmony is a teenage girl, with wildly out of control hormones. She craves attention from men, and is willing to do some questionable things to get it. Harmony doesn’t truly understand love, and often uses sex to fill that void.
- Clothes – Harmony attempts to hide how naive, and oblivious to the world she is by making sure at least her outer layers look good. Mentally there isn’t much going on with the girl, but if you judge Harmony by her cover then she at least looks interesting. She is a pretty girl, in designer clothes, and what you see is what you get. She likes to keep up to date with fashion, and always be the envy of the other girls. Obviously most of the inspiration for her wardrobe comes from Paris.
- Fitting In – Nothing is worse than the thought of being an outcast, or a loner. Harmony wants to be included in the ‘in-crowd’. She wants to socialize with the top of the food chain, and more importantly be seen doing so. She will ride anyone’s coat tails just to make sure that she remains popular, and doesn’t draw any unwanted attention to herself.
DISLIKES
- Being underestimated – Harmony can’t stand for people to see her as weak, or useless. She needs to be included, and wanted in any situation. She wants to be seen as an equal to everyone else around her, and prevent herself from sticking out. She tries to blend in, while still maintaining her aura of superiority. When people judge her or put her down in any way, it makes her feel less important.
- Being mistreated – Harmony is a very emotional girl, and longs for love, attention and acceptance. When someone treats her wrong it weighs heavily on her heart and mind, and makes her doubt herself. She is always trying to improve herself. She wants to be the most lovable person on the planet, and have everyone adore her, not hurt her feelings.
- School – It is a challenge for her, since she isn’t that smart. Books and learning, are not things that Harmony excels in. Her skills lie in other areas, but she struggles with homework, and tests. It makes her feel ignorant, and like a complete idiot. She does try, that is if she doesn’t have a party to go too. She gets frustrated at the smallest things, and turns them into much larger issues, making even the smallest problems enormous.
- Most things – Harmony is a very picky girl, she wants the best of everything, and will not lower herself for someone or something. This applies to men, clothes, friends, food, and shampoo. She will not settle, and has no concept of money so she doesn’t mind paying more for better quality things. She treats things that she sees as ‘unworthy of her’ as if they were lower in dirt.
- People – Harmony hates people who are smarter than her, prettier than her, or more popular than her. If she is not the most important person in the room, then she becomes insanely jealous of the person hogging up all the glory. So she does the next best thing, she gets close to them, in order to be seen hanging out with them. Popular by association. She may hate those people with a fierce passion, but she will grin and fake her way through it, all in the name or popularity.

All eyes on me when I walk in

Harmony Alice Kendall was born to James and Maryanne Kendall on February third. She came as a very late birthday present to her mother, who instantly fell in love with her beautiful daughter. They shared the same eyes, and cheekbones, and Maryanne knew instantly that the baby in her arms would be the highlight of her life. For the first two years of Harmony’s life she and her mother were inseparable. With James being the wealthy sort of gentleman, Maryanne quit her job as a jewelry appraiser in order to spend more time with her daughter. James had what every man should want, a lovely home, a beautiful wife, and a precious baby girl. However, sometimes rich and powerful men crave more out of life, and James’s mid life crisis came in the form of a nineteen year old girl. She was impressed by his money, he was impressed with her body. Two months, and no one suspected a thing, until Maryanne found a thong in her husband’s back pocket.
Penniless, and heartbroken Maryanne left their humble mansion, and went back to her mother in New Jersey. She regretted leaving her daughter, but with barely enough money to support herself, let alone a baby she was forced to let her remain with her father. Maryanne had no job, no car, and no home in which to raise a baby. James had everything. James being a partner in a law firm pulled several strings to make sure that he maintained custody of the now three year old Harmony. The girl grew up with all the attention a doting father could bestow upon her. Finally he gave in one year and bought her a pony, which inspired her love of unicorns. In a way it was an attempt to buy his daughters love, and make up for all the mistakes he had made in the past concerning his family. The more he spoiled the girl, the less guilty he felt.
Maryanne continued to visit on holidays, and as often as she could afford a plane ticket. Until finally it became too hard for her to even look at James. She could never get over how he had betrayed her, and Harmony was the one to pay the price for it. Bitter and stubborn Maryanne stopped coming back to California all together. Harmony was forced to settle for a phone call, or an e-mail. This finally dwindled down to a card on her birthday and on Christmas. Contact with her mother became less important to the girl who received everything she could dream of from her father. Until finally even his attentions wavered. Long nights at the office, dates that lasted for entire weekends, or the occasional golf game during the day.
Harmony was forced to make her own entertainment, as the attention from her parents fainted. By the time she was fifteen she began to take an interest in boys. This was also around the time where her body began to develop, sending the wrong message to her would be boyfriends. She thought Eric really loved her, she began planning their wedding, and their honeymoon in Paris. He spent every second he could spare with her, even spending the night when her father was gone. He had given her everything she wanted, so she thought she would return the favor by sleeping with him. At first things were great, but a month later she found out who he truly was. Also she met his two other lovely girlfriends.
Instead of remaining depressed, and devouring an entire pint of Ben and jerry’s, she moved on and found another boyfriend, and another, and another. It eased the pain, and at least for a little while she could enjoy being with the boys. Being both pretty and rich she glided easily into the popular crowd, which attracted even more attention to her. She loved it. She made friends with Cordelia Chase, and assured her popularity for life. She joined the cheerleading squad, and even if she can’t spell all those words, she really does look cute in her uniform.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT For the moment, Harmony is a simple human with no powers or abilities to speak of. Plot wise it could be useful to have a damsel around, to get captured, or put in danger. But I’m pretty sure Cordy has that slot filled. Harmony can be used as she is needed. Or, we could go with plan B, my favorite plan. Later she could get turned into a vampire, and decide that she wants to be the new big bad. Of course she would make no one tremble in fear, but she could disrupt everyone else’s plans. Either way I will work her into the plot somehow.
